Another side by side for your enjoyment. A digital (hipstamatic) shot next to one of the wet plates that survived, it was a day that collodion decided it did not want to stick to my glass, total bummer and still sad for the lost plates that day.

And a few in color even…

I am not sure how I forgot to post this one. It is my self portrait. Well my hand portrait…

A little Bodie. A little Helena. A lotta Shakti. Equals one of my faves.

Audrey and I shot together maybe a year and a half ago, when I was fairly new to the world of wet plate and we have been trying to shoot again for a while since a lot of my chemistry was giving me fits back then. We finally got some time earlier this week and got a few really great shots. She is a joy to work with and a trippy ass cool woman.

Jenni and I did a digital shoot a few weeks back at the Graffiti Cathedral here in SF while we waited for some consistent sunshine for some wet plates. And with the weather getting nicer we did our first shoot last weekend and got some awesome plates. We have another shoot coming up with a custom made corset that I made for it so look for that coming soon…

Another Kelly. Somehow the file from the last round got corrupted but here is my favorite from the last shoot with Kelly. She is always awesome.

Here’s a digital of Alisha that I shot during a wet plate shoot, different pose but the same exact set up, lighting, etc. Interesting as a side by side between two disparate photographic technologies.

And even more, because you can never get enough Sarah Ellis.

More Sarah Ellis.
